Dear Readers,
Today I present to you another article concerning esotericism, a thorny but very fascinating matter. In this article we will talk about the 7 MAIN CHAKRAS in a little more detail.
As a continuation of the previous article, HIDDEN ANATOMY: "The Chakras, Energy Centers and Other Powers" , we will give a small introduction on what the chakras are and then move on to analyzing the seven major chakras individually..
The CHAKRAs are the Psychic Centers of the body which are active at all times, whether we are aware of them or not. The Energy travels through the CHAKRAs producing different psychic states. Modern biological science explains this as the chemical changes produced to the Endocrine Glands, ductless glands whose secretions mix directly and instantaneously with the body's bloodstream .
DESCRIPTION OF EACH CHAKRA:
1st - Chakra "Muladhara" or Basic Center.
Muladhara means: MULA=ROOT, AND ADHARA=SUPPORT.
Chakra name meaning : Foundation.
Location: It is located on the pelvic plexus, region between the anus and the genitals; at the base of the spine. Corresponding to the first three vertebrae.
Number Of Petals: Four.
Chakra Color: It is an intense Orange color when active.
States or Faculties that produce its activation: "The art of traveling through space"; spiritual discernment; talents in voice, poetry, skill and organization. "Lord of speech and King of men, and an Adept in any class of studies. He remains forever free from all disease and his inner spirit lives full of enjoyment." Domain over the earth element.
Other data:Inside this CHAKRA the energy called KUNDALINI remains contained, which we will talk about later, twisted with three and a half turns on itself, like a snake, and closing with its head the entrance to the central NADI Sushumna. The other two main nadis also start from this Chakra: IDA and PINGALA. Normally, a child between the ages of 1 and 7 acts following the motivations of the "first Chakra." The earth is understood as a new science. The child must ground himself and establish the laws of his world, learning to regulate his eating, drinking and sleeping patterns as the appropriate conduct necessary to ensure his identity in the world. The young child must be self-centered and be very concerned about his physical survival. The main problem of the child or of the adult who act according to the motivations from the First CHAKRA is the violent conduct based on Insecurity. A person with terror can strike blindly and senselessly, like a confined animal, for what he thinks is a loss of basic insecurity.
2. CHAKRA "SVADHISTHANA" O CENTRO SACRO.
Svadhisthana means : Supports of the Breath of "life", or "Place where the Being dwells"
Location: The stem of this center has its origin between the 4th and 5th lumbar vertebrae, on the hypogastric plexus; genitals.
Number of Petals: Six.
Chakra Color: It is related to the life force and has all the colors of the sun: red, orange, yellow, blue, green, and violet.
States or Faculties that produce its activation: Domination over the greatest enemies of the Ascetic: his passions and his selfishness. I also have dominion over the element Water (apas), in all its variations.
Other data: The child begins to physically contact with his family and friends. Increase his imagination. Sensuality enters the relationship as it evolves to a new awareness of the physical body. Desire for physical sensations and mental fantasies can be a problem for the person at this level. Gravity flows downward attracting the water, and thus the second chakra can have a downward spiral effect on the Psyche. The Svadhisthana Chakra embraces the Astral plane, such as the planes of amusement, fantasy, jealousy, pity, envy and enjoyment. The Astral Plane is the space between Heaven and Earth.
The Sacred Center is the well-known Japanese "Hara" Center. Sometimes we have been able to see that certain sadus, certain YOGUIS of India, have a very developed belly area, considering that they hardly eat, why? In the case of Initiates, a prominent or highly developed belly is an indication of power, strength and denotes spiritual reserves accumulated thanks to breathing exercises. Watch the Japanese. Some have a huge belly, and at the same time great flexibility, great strength and great intelligence. This is so because they have been working to develop what they call the Will Do Center. This center corresponds to the Sacred Hindu Chakra, it is located 4 centimeters below the navel. Farà means "Belly" in Japanese, and from there comes the expression from "farsi" the Hara-KIRI, that is, committing suicide by opening the belly, allowing the life force or energy to drain. For the Japanese Sages, that Hara is the center of life, of balance, the universal center, and when man, concentrating on him, manages to develop it, he transforms himself into an indefatigable, invincible being.
All those who have worked at the Hara Center stand out in life for an extraordinary balance. This center is popularly used in Martial Arts, such as in Karate, Aikido or Kung Ma, to bring out or develop what they call the Internal Energy, KI for Japanese, and CHI for Chinese. Despite what many pseudo-occultists say, this Center, like any center lower than that of the heart, should not be awakened or quickened prematurely, because it is a center of great power. It is very dangerous to wake him up without first cleaning and purifying the lower desires and tendencies well. This yes it will activate from above, from the spirit, automatically when the man is prepared.
"Man aligned with divine will has power to awaken and activate all latent centers and powers"
We do not seek to awaken any hidden faculties or powers through desire and sustained concentration on the Lower Centres. As the Christ said : "Seek first the Kingdom of God over all things, and all else shall follow unto you . " Therefore, we do not seek the rest first and then the Spiritual Realm. It's a disastrous mistake. Because if we have not first established in our interior a certain cleanliness and a certain superior discernment and stability as Master SIVANANDA says, the powerful circulating internal forces can drag us towards dementia and even sickness. So let us first seek the Presence of our Divine Soul.
3. CHAKRA "MANIPURA" The Solar Plexus Center.
Manipura means: MANI=joy, PURA= city also "The city of Gems."
Location: The shaft of this center has its origin between the 2nd and 3rd lumbar vertebrae. In the Solar Plexus; Epigastric plexus , navel area.
Number of Petals: Ten.
Chakra Color: Alternate Divisions of Red and Green.
States or Faculties that produce its activation . Pain and disease remain destroyed, all wishes come true. Time remains won and the Ascetic can penetrate the bodies of others. Gains the power to create gold or other precious materials. He knows medicinal plants and can also discover treasures. The Manipura Center is a great Emitting and Receiving Center of impressions, so due to its high sensitivity, especially astral, it can perceive, for example, emotions as well as the thoughts of others. Inferior telepathy.
Other Data: The motivation of the energy of this Chakra pushes the person to develop his ego, his identity with the world. The balance of is selfless service; that is, to serve without desire for reward. The practice of clarity will clarify one's path of action, or Karma. This chakra is the one that dominates in simple people, in people who are defined by their sentimentality with a pleasant sense: the desire to be useful, to lend support, to help in an almost maternal way. This same feeling can adopt negative forms and, then, produces a tendency to melodrama and hysterical and selfish reactions , these traits, of infantile psychism, what we normally call an immature person, although on the other hand emerge, not only intellectually, but also for his noble and generous feelings.
Importance of the Solar Plexus: The Solar Plexus directs all functions of the physical body; respiration, elimination, nutrition, growth, circulation, the nervous system depend on it... Through the Solar Plexus man really communicates with the Universe, because the Solar Plexus is united to the whole Cosmos. Therefore it is a very interesting Center for us and we must avoid anything that could contract it, because it in turn governs the contraction of the blood vessels and the different channels of the body, so that when the blood or other liquids circulate badly, deposits form which, over time, end up producing all kinds of disturbances.
How To Strengthen The Solar Plexus: What most disturbs the Solar Plexus and, as a consequence, the internal organs: the liver, the kidneys, the stomach, etc., are panic, anger, fears, doubt, disordered love, chaotic thoughts and feelings; and since the Solar Plexus is a storehouse of forces, the consequence of this disorder is a total Demagnetization. But although the Solar Plexus can become empty, it can also fill up, and this is what the Aspirant must learn: The exits of the Sun, embracing a tree, listening to the water from a waterfall or a spring with a serene and attentive attitude. Also by placing your feet in warm water and visualizing the energy flowing towards it the Solar Plexus is very regenerating. The Brain and the Solar Plexus: The Solar Plexus created the brain and feeds it, maintains it, that is, energizes it, gives it strength, and when it stops doing it man falls asleep, becomes brutal, or his head hurts and cannot reflect. In reality, the brain is not separate from the Solar Plexus, but it is very rare that anyone knows how to raise the energies from the Solar Plexus up to the Brain. The brain is dynamic, active, but gets tired immediately if it is not supported by the energies of the Solar Plexus. For this reason, before making an intellectual effort, before meditating, before concentrating, it is advisable to act on our Solar Plexus, even if only briefly, aligning it with the spiritual intention of our immediate work. Give him massages, for example, in the opposite direction to the hands of the clock... After a few minutes we will feel that our thinking is freed, and that we can get to work.
4. "ANAHATA" CHAKRA OR HEART CENTER.
Anahata means: “ Not struck" or "Mystical Sound."

Faith is the motivating force as one strives for Balance on all levels. The Anahata Chakra or Heart Center embraces the good tendencies and plans of Holiness, balance and fragrance. It is the source of Light and Love, not only of human love but of agape love, Divine Love, which the New Testament so poetically describes as a "river" of living water. It is also important to add that the CRÍSTICO Principle, ( Inner Christ), is found hidden in the Heart of the disciple, and it is there where the sacred "Jewel" in the Lotus is found. Without entering into new and more extensive relationships, it must be understood that the number Four, within a septenary universe like ours, will occupy The Central Point, the middle point, transforming itself into the Mystical Center of evolution and will mark the ascent route towards new superior forms of life. Hence the importance that is currently assigned to the human heart in the development of this Fourth System of Worlds within which our Planet occupies the fourth place. One of the greatest esoteric axioms says:
" ONLY THROUGH LOVE CAN MAN BE SAVED AND REDEMPTED."
This is a deep and true occultist axiom. In the heart is hidden the Thread of Life or Silver Cord that unites us with the Divine Love and the Divine Strength of the Creator.
5. CHAKRA "VISHUDDHA" O CENTRO LARYNGEO.
Vishuddha means: "Great Purity."

Whoever enters Vishuddha becomes the master of his whole being. Here all the Elements, Tattvas , dissolve in the pure and self-luminous AKASHA (Ether). Whoever develops this Magnetic Center obtains the Power of CLEARING, the power to hear at a distance, the power to hear the "Music" of the Spheres and the creatures that live in the higher dimensions.

Its physical externalization is the Thyroid Gland which maintains the balance of the body by controlling the level of human growth and metabolism. The ruling Planet is Jupiter, which is called Guru in Sanskrit, the one who imparts Knowledge. Who enters the Plan of Chakra Vishuddha seeks knowledge, the road that leads to true births man to the Divine state. All the elements are transformed into its refined essence, its purest manifestation. When this happens, the being is established in Pure Consciousness. A person becomes , free from the shackles of the world and master of its total being. The Laryngeal Chakra embodies "Chit", or Cosmic Consciousness. We are in the fifth root-race and this is reason enough to understand why the great importance of Mind Control (Raja-yoga), and the energetic incidence at human and planetary level which corresponds to the Laryngeal CHAKRA to be the fifth.
6. "AJNA" CHAKRA OR CENTER BETWEEN THE EYEBROWS.
Ajna means: Command, authority, unlimited power.

Other Data: When a person enters the AJNA Chakra, light forms an aura around his head. When the Disciple awakens this "Command" center, he has totally under control the respiration and the mind. Ida, Pingala and Sushumna gather in the Ajna Chakra. These three "rivers" are found in TRIVENI, the main seat of consciousness. The two physical eyes see or perceive the past and the present, while the future is revealed to the AJNA Eye. In the Ajna Center, one's ascetic transforms into a Divine manifestation. It embodies all elements in its purest essence or form. All internal and external changes cease to be a problem. The Mind reaches a state of undifferentiated cosmic consciousness and Ceases All Duality. In this level the danger ends of the retrocessions; there is no spiritual investment, for while in his physical body he is in a constant state of non-dual consciousness. He is capable of understanding the cosmic meaning and is also capable of generate writings.
The Disciple must intensify his attention towards that high point of the head, he must try to stay there in his post of Command over the personality. We are actually taught that the Soul resides there, in the Ajna Chakra, as the Spirit resides in the ultimate or Coronary Centre. The life aspect of spirit is found in the Heart Centre, but in its higher or Consciousness aspect it is located in the frown. In the Occultist Meditations we trace an energy line from the Ajna Center to a point located beyond the head, thus establishing a communication, a bridge or ANTAKARANA which communicates us cerebrally with the Divine Soul or Solar Angel. Stay constantly, in daily life, on that Center which helps us to Transmute the lower energies, as well as to build a center of higher center of gravity, where our consciousness does not descend and identify with other aspects of the lower nature.
7. "SAHASRARA" CHAKRA OR CORONARY CENTER.

States or Faculties that produce its activation: POLIVIDENCE or supreme power is acquired. Man is transformed into a Deity, immortal and radiant. In this center the divine-man resembles his Creator and acquires the consent to collaborate in his Cosmic Work.
Other Data: This Supreme Chakra has inside, in the same center, another minor CHAKRA of white color which can be observed in its 12 Petal gold center. It is to put it in some way the heart of the head, since mystically it is related to the Cardiac or heart Chakra. "Above the palate is the divine Lotus of the Thousand Petals. This Lotus which gives Liberation, is found outside the body, considered as a Universe. It is called "Kailasa", the Mount of Pleasure where the Supreme resides . It is without-matrix, indestructible. Nothing can increase or decrease it." There, in the place called Kailasa, resides the Swan, the symbol of supreme discernment. The investigator fixing his mind on the Lotus Dei a Thousand Petals see all its sufferings disappear . It is there, in the Coronary Chakra where the twisted Energy (KUNDALINI)also known as Matrix (Kula). Then, the fourfold creation folded into itself is reabsorbed into the Supreme Reality. It is the last Chakra to awaken and therefore agrees with the highest level of spiritual perfection. In this Chakra one understands the true Union, the Truth and the highest Ecstasy. When one is at this level one is transformed into his Real Being, and the Spirit manifests totally in man through his lower bodies or his Personality. It should be noted that the SAHASRARA does not already belong to the physical level of body, but it refers only to the transcendental plane. For this reason frequently in some texts it is omitted and they speak only of the six Chakras below him." The AJNA Center represents the feminine aspect in the head, while the desiresCoronary Center personifies the male or Will part. The Ajna Center is used for the Coronary as the window through which one sees and externalises into the Physical Plane. When one arrives at this level of evolution, in which the last chakra has been upgraded then man attains self-realization and transforms into a Master of the Wisdom, and succeeds himself to reverse the Coronary Chakra itself and spreads his high energy as a Central Sun pouring out Love and Generosity to all the world as a Redeemer.
These first articles on esotericism concerning the anatomy of man are guides to begin to understand a different view of human anatomy. Obviously this information is very useful but certainly not exhaustive, the subject is vast and very complex.
I hope I have been helpful in understanding this fantastic world of "hidden anatomy" and as always, I ask you to leave your mark in the comments.
