Dear Readers,
Today I present to you another article concerning esotericism, a thorny but very fascinating matter. in this article we will talk about the HIDDEN ANATOMY: "The Chakras, Energy Centers and Other Powers".
Virtually all of man's relationships with the world are linked to the Five Senses. These five senses inform the mind of all that they are capable of perceiving, and it, the Mind, acts as the receptive and coherent agent of that information. However, it is interesting to draw attention to the fact that for thousands of years man has practiced multiplying and amplifying his Sensations and Perceptions through the use of his Five Limited Physical Senses, and man calls this game on the keyboard of the five senses culture and civilization. This, unfortunately, is a very poor concept taking into account the true Potential - of man. The five physical senses belong to the physical plane and will never explore beyond this. We all have sometimes experienced other states of perception, of spiritual fullness, these internal perceptions, surpass any register of the ordinary senses......isn't it?.
Not to mention some other perceptions that we normally call intuitions, flashes, premonitions, impulses and other series of experiences that belong to the realm called paranormal. We observe human beings; they have the opportunity to see, to taste, to touch, to buy it all and yet, they are always missing something... Why? Because they don't know that to reach Fullness, to discover sensations of truly exceptional intensity and richness, one must go beyond the five senses. In this field, Orientals are capable of having absolutely unimaginable experiences for Westerners, although there are nowadays the same possibilities for both Orientals and Westerners, even if the former have had greater freedom of experimentation in the past.
It must be achieved that human beings understand that the urge to accumulate and expand their physical sensations will cause them great disappointments, since these sensations are limited in time and space. Why? Because each organ is specialized, performs a determined function and produces no other sensations than those that correspond to its own physical nature. To experience new sensations and amplitudes of states, one must go to other internal and more subtle organs, which we also possess. These yes belong to our Hidden or esoteric Anatomy, and it remains hidden, because official science cannot yet investigate them in its laboratories and with its ordinary instruments.
However, we must know that this Anatomy is not ignored for this, quite the contrary. It has been studied, investigated and developed in depth by countless Masters, Initiates, Disciples and psychic investigators throughout the ages.
Where the most research has been done, or rather, where the most writing on the subject has been in the East, albeit in a somewhat symbolic way at times. They, certain oriental groups, had a complete scientific knowledge of these Centers and internal Powers which surround man, interpret him and make him what he is. Looking just a little at these cultures, we find surprising knowledge and sciences almost incomprehensible for those times. For example, if we study a little what Acupuncture develops, we get a general idea of the marvelous science of those peoples. Acupuncture, which is already officially recognized in western medicine, shows better than any other science, the Energetic or Hidden Counterpart of the human being. Since this does not work or heal on the physical part,
God has placed great possibilities in the human soul, but a life that is too oriented towards the outside hinders its development. For men who strive to live a purely phenomenal or material life, their five senses devour all Psychic energy and nothing is left for the spiritual Plane. The difference between material satisfaction and spiritual Enjoyment and Fullness is the same as the distance between our eyes and the ground, and that from our eyes to infinite space. That is the quantitative and qualitative difference. Until the human being knows and has developed the Internal Organs that can put him in contact with the Regions and higher entities, it can be affirmed that he will not know much,
There are two forms of knowledge: Intellectual and Spiritual. If both can develop, much better, as the two complement each other and form a complete picture of understanding. In the first place there is the need to know, inherent in every human being; afterwards, knowledge is acquired, the study on the subject; then, if true understanding is to be achieved, theoretical knowledge is put into practice, tested in our own lives, resulting in Experience. But we all know that not all experiences are properly assimilated; only a clear understanding, a loving intelligence can transform experience into Wisdom, but for this Spirituality is necessary. This would be the last point and the most important,
THE ETHERIC BODY
Most are ignorant of that degree of matter, still physical, though invisible, to which occultists call Ethereal. This invisible part of the physical body is of the utmost importance to us, for it is the vehicle through which the Life Currents flow which keep the body alive, and serve as a bridge for transferring the undulations of Thought and Emotion from the Astral Body to the dense Physical Body. Without this intermediate bridge the Soul could not use the cells of its brain. The clairvoyant sees it as a distinct mass of dimly luminous gray-violet haze interpenetrating the dense part of the physical body and extending somewhat beyond it. The etheric body is the densest part of the human aura. Modern physical science states that any bodily change, whether it be in muscles, cells or nerves, it is accompanied by an electrical action, and this is probably true even in the chemical changes which are constantly taking place in the physical body. Wherever the electric action is to occur, the Ether must, necessarily, be present; so that the presence of the current implies that of the ether which penetrates everything and envelops everything; no particle of physical matter is in contact with another, but each floats in an atmosphere of aether. The Etheric Body is composed of the 4 most subtle states of matter, namely, the etheric, superetheric, subatomic and atomic. E is an Exact Duplicate of the physical body. the Ether must, necessarily, be present; so that the presence of the current implies that of the ether which penetrates everything and envelops everything; no particle of physical matter is in contact with another, but each floats in an atmosphere of aether. It is also necessary to note that, The Etheric Body is also the vehicle of Prana. As Shri Shankaracharya teaches: PRANA is the breath of life, it is also the active energy of the ego. This invisible part of the physical body is the Vehicle through which the Currents Of PRANA flow or the vitality which preserves the body with life.
WHAT IS PRANA?
In order for the physical body to live, it requires food for its nutrition; air for its respiration and vitality for its absorption. Vitality is, essentially, a force; but when clothed in matter it appears as an element existing in all planes of nature. Vitality is a force that originally comes from the Sun and everything and everyone, like fish in the ocean of water, is immersed in an ocean of that life, called "JIVA", or the solar life principle. Everyone appropriates that vitality, therefore called PRANA, the human vital principle, or life force. It has no colour, although it is intensely Luminous and cannot be directly useful to the body for its assimilation, unless it is absorbed through an Etheric Center located in the etheric counterpart of the Spleen. The physiological function of the Spleen, as they know, is to form red blood cells. Therefore it is not at all strange that the Etheric Center of vitality which comes from the Sun, in the form of small luminous spheres, is rightly situated on it. The earth's atmosphere is at all times filled with this force, called prana. PRANA cannot separate from the physical vehicle and its etheric double during life. Synthesizing we could say that: PRANA in Sanskrit means "Absolute Energy" the life force. It is known that with every breath of a person PRANA flows towards us. By transforming into a Master of PRANAYAMA (Energy Breathing), the Science of Breathing, one can immerse himself in the vital force and then learn to control his "Subtle Energy System", so that it can Transmute energy into any vibration it requires. This life force acts as a Cosmic Tail. It spreads from the Whole, flowing to each Dimension, filling all available space, connecting all in the four levels. All that "IS" sprouts from PRANA in the way that it changes into different vibrations. At all, PRANA is not Consciousness, it is simply the absolute energy that keeps everything functioning, the fuel of life.
The "NADIS" or Subtle Energy Conduits.
When we say that the pranic energy moves and circulates throughout the whole body, it is obvious that we are referring to an Ordered, Organized and Wise System of very subtle Conduits, created of etheric matter, through which the energy moves. These conduits or NADIS, are responsible for TRANSMITTING and Carrying energy to all points of the physical body, producing Health or disease depending on its cleanliness, and also create the necessary conditions for the Awakening of all the faculties or Powers of the developed Man. The NADIS come to be a subtle counterpart of the Nervous System Network, but without being confused with it. PRANA does not act directly on the material body, but flows through this dense network of NÁDISI channels. It is, therefore, an infinity, some quantify them at around 72,000 thousand nadis. In the following drawing we can observe this sprawling arrangement of etheric channels. It is a schematic reproduction, according to the classic engraving, of the Network of NADIS which constitute the assembly of the "PRANAMAYA KOSHA" and through which the PRÁNICA energy circulates. There are some big NADISes, such as physical nerves, veins and arteries and they jointly go in parallel. But not all NADISs adopt a physical form, nor do they have a visible character, therefore, it is impossible to locate them, observe them or follow the path they travel by physical means. The subtle NADIS are of two types: 1st, "Pranavaha Nadis" Conduits of the Pránic force. 2nd, "Manovaha Nadis" Conduits of Mental force. The meridians on which they work in Acupuncture are equivalent to the nadis of pranavaha or nadis pránicos.
The Three Capital Conduits
Within the theme of the NADIS and broadening our vision of the Subtle-Conduits of man, we must recognize and emphasize the great importance that the following three nadis have for Occultist studies and practices: The SUSHUMNA, the IDA and the PINGALA. Because these form the mystical and essential Energetic Trinidad of Man. To better understand these claims and the underlying importance of these three special conduits, let's briefly study them in particular:
THE SUSHUMNA CHANNEL"
This Central NADIS is the most important of all. It occupies a central position and passes through the entire spine. It is born in an Energy Center or CHAKRA located in the base of the spine called "MULADHARA." The SUSHUMNA channel ascends through the body crossing the palate in the base of the skull and finally joining another Energy Center or CHAKRA called "SAHASRARA" or "Lotus" of a thousand Petals in the upper part of the skull. Generally for the common man this Channel is practically unused and for those engaged in Occultist Work it is a purpose to circulate the KUNDALINI energy through it, the most powerful force in life. This KUNDALÍNICA energy or "Serpentine" when it manages to ascend through the SUSHUMNA channel, opens behind its steps, degree by degree, all the chakras that are connected for this Central NADI. In this way, man would be transformed into a "God", because by ascending the KUNDALINI Fire through the central channel, it burns all impurities and limitations that man may have, producing total liberation. This is undoubtedly the goal of many YOGUIS.
THE "IDA" CHANNEL
This NADI called Ida, is the Left channel, bearer of Lunar currents. It is feminine in nature and the storehouse of maternal energy which produces life. The Left side is described in the Tantras as magnetic, feminine, visual and emotional in nature. In the practice of PRANAYAMA (energetic breathing) it almost always begins by covering the right window of the nose and breathing through the left window. This excites Ida at the NADI, because it arises in the left testicle and ends up in the left window of the nose. For this channel, as for the following one, energy normally circulates in the common man, but not harmoniously. True health follows from the correct balance of the NADI Ida and PINGALA; physical, mental and spiritual.
THE PINGALA CHANNEL"
PINGALA is the Right channel, bearer of the Solar currents, it is masculine in nature, and a reserve of destructive energies. The Right is electrical, masculine, verbal and rational in nature.
In the book The Occult Life in Freemasonry, CW Leadbeater says with respect to the Masonic use of these energies: "Part of the plan of Freemasonry is the stimulation of the activity of the ethereal forces in the human body, with a view to hastening evolution. This stimulation is applied at the time when the Venerable Master creates, receives and constitutes the candidate. In the first degree the Ida or feminine aspect of energy influences, by which the candidate is facilitated to master the passions and emotions. In the second degree it infu The pingala or masculine aspect awakes and strengthens it in order to facilitate mastery of the mind. In the third degree the central energy, the sushumna, awakens and makes way for the higher influence of the spirit."
I C H A K R A
When a man begins to sharpen his senses so that he can perceive something more than what others perceive, a new and fascinating world unfolds before him, and the chakras are the first things of that world that call attention. The word "CHAKRA" is Sanskrit, and means Wheel or Lotus, alluding respectively in both terms to its Round shape and its representation by means of the symbol of a Lotus Flower. These CHAKRAs exist in every human being, although they are Centers - Hidden, that is, not visible, nor material, since they belong to the Subtle or Etheric Body. The CHAKRAs agree with the different degrees of manifestation in the Macrocosms, and with the different levels of the human personality which are finally nothing but a reproduction in small Microcosms,
The CHAKRAs are the Psychic Centers of the body which are active at all times, whether we are aware of them or not. The Energy travels through the CHAKRAs producing different psychic states. Modern biological science explains this as the chemical changes produced to the Endocrine Glands, ductless glands whose secretions mix directly and instantaneously with the body's bloodstream .
The CHAKRAs or Force Centers are also points of connection or union through which energy flows from one to another vehicle or body of man. This means that there are CHAKRAs not only in the etheric body, but also in the astral and mental. All having a necessary interrelationship. Anyone possessing a slight degree of clairvoyance can easily see them in the ethereal double on whose surface they appear in the form of depressions similar to Plates or Vortexes, and when already fully active due to the degree of spirituality attained, they increase in volume, more than two inches, and can be seen as refulgent and active whirlpools roughly in accord with certain physical organs; but actually like small suns. We sometimes speak of these Centers as if they are on the surface of the etheric double which projects slightly beyond the dense body. Although the NADIs do not have to agree with the nerves, not even the CHAKRAs need to be signaled as nerve centers or endocrine glands, as there are authors who try to do it, They keep despite a correspondence with those parts of the organism, being able to observe a parallelism between them which we will talk about later, and even a mutual influence.
All these Wheels or CHAKRAs turn incessantly, and through the cube or open mouth of each of them there flows continuously the energy of the higher world, the manifestation of the indwelling vital current of the Second Aspect of the Solar Logos, to which we call Primary energy, of a sextuple nature, although in particular predominance of one of them according to the CHAKRA. Without this influx of energy, the physical body would not exist. The function of the CHAKRAs is that of centers where energy or prana can accumulate , having the capacity to Transform and Distribute it through the appropriate energy influx. In the sufficiently developed man they shine and pulsate with bright light, whereby in this case a quantity of NADIs towards the totality of the human being. Therefore, the Centers or CHAKRAs slow down its movement, the strictly necessary to form the vortex act in every human being, even in unevolved people it is much greater quantity of energy passes in this case, and the individual obtains as a result the increase of his Higher Powers and Faculties. Of these centers there are numerous for the whole body, however among them it is necessary to highlight, due to its great importance, Seven. Each of these 7 main CHAKRAs has its own singularity, whether it be in color, location, shape and division, symbols, faculties or powers that it is essentially, its possibilities and relationships. grants, etc. We will deal here with each of them and decipher, although
In the next article we will talk in more detail about the 7 main chakras from an esoteric point of view. As always I ask you to leave your mark in the comments.
