Dear readers and friends,
Today I propose another article in the series on traditional Chinese medicine, in particular vibrational acupuncture; a very interesting variant of acupuncture that combines points and meridians with vibrations.
Vibrational acupuncture (or tuning fork acupuncture) is a complementary technique that combines the principles of traditional Chinese acupuncture with the use of tuning forks and sound waves to stimulate the body's energy points, deeply addressing accumulated emotions and tensions and enhancing the effectiveness of other therapies through specific vibrations and harmonic frequencies to rebalance the flow of Qi (vital energy).
As we've seen in several articles on acupressure and acupuncture, each point and meridian has its own physical and psychological function, and when stimulated with the right vibration, they can accelerate the individual's physical, energetic, and emotional rebalancing. The tools I'm presenting today are two tuning forks. There are a wide variety of tuning forks, each model having a specific frequency to address specific needs. Standard tuning forks produce a pure, vibrant sound, ideal for meditation. They consist of two forks and a stem. They can be found in various materials: steel and aluminum (the most commonly used), titanium (very rare, used in medical or scientific fields), bronze and brass (used to modify timbre in scientific fields), and crystal (for meditation because it produces an ethereal, delicate sound). Aluminum tuning forks are also available in various colors. The different colors are useful only for distinguishing frequencies. Healing tuning forks, called Eights, have more intense and profound vibrations that are perceptible to the individual's body. They are used for specific treatments on the human body, placing the instrument directly on the individual being treated. They are called osteophonic healing tuning forks.
The term Osteophonic comes from the combination of two Greek words: Osteon meaning "bone" and Phone meaning "sound" or "voice." Thus, "Osteophonic" refers to the transmission of sound through bones.
Main Tuning Fork Models
The 128 Hz tuning fork, also known as Osteophonic (eight), meaning "that makes the bones vibrate", was created to rebalance bones and muscles.
The 136.1 Hz tuning fork is based on calculations related to the sound frequencies of the earth: 136.10 Hz is its vibration, "OM".
Tuning fork 128 Hz
This tuning fork is the main one of the Osteophonic Eight series, which means "that makes the bones vibrate." This particular frequency is used in the medical, physiotherapy, and holistic fields for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. C 256 HZ. And from G 384 HZ we subtract and obtain our frequency 384-256 = 128Hz.
128 Hz is generally considered a universal frequency for the human body. The vibrations emitted by the tuning fork affect the release of nitric oxide into nervous and vascular tissue, leading to vasodilation, relaxing and increasing opiates, thus regulating pain. The result is increased circulation and decreased pain.
GENERAL REBALANCE: Place the ball on the sternum, in the center of the chest. In this position, the vibrations amplify in every direction of the body, producing a feeling of peace, joy, and lightness.
JOINT REBALANCE: Place it on the tense tissues around the joints; the vibrations will relax the tissues and bones, bringing relief.
GENERAL SKULL REBALANCE: It should be placed at three points on the skull: the first point on the crown chakra, the second point at the base of the skull (Occipital), and finally at the point between the eyebrows (called the frontal bone). It produces a feeling of squareness and mental clarity.
NERVOUS SYSTEM BALANCE: Place this point on the lower sacrum, at the base of the spine. The vibrations will travel throughout the pelvis. This point not only releases tension directly in the pelvis, but also helps balance the nervous system.
Nitric oxide (NO), or nitric oxide, is a colorless gas essential in our body that acts as a messenger molecule, regulating vital functions such as blood circulation (vasodilation), neuronal communication, the immune system and metabolism, improving athletic performance and helping with erectile dysfunction.
Tuning fork 136.1 Hz
The 136.1 Hz tuning fork is associated with the so-called "Om" frequency or Om tone. It is used in sound therapy for meditation, holistic massage, and for psychophysical calm. It promotes deep relaxation, calms anxiety and stress, and rebalances the body's energy system.
USE ON THE CHAKRAS
N.1 ROOT CHAKRA should be placed at the base of the spine, it awakens stability and security
N.2 SACRED CHAKRA should be placed above the pubic bone, it awakens sexuality and creativity .
N.3 SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA above the navel, helps and invigorates self-esteem.
N.4 HEART CHAKRA should be placed in the center of the chest, it awakens love and compassion.
N.5 THROAT CHAKRA should be placed on the lower throat, it helps communication.
N.6 THIRD EYE CHAKRA should be placed between the two eyebrows, it stimulates intuition, wisdom and inner vision
N.7 CROWN CHAKRA should be placed on the top of the head, it helps spiritual connection and enlightenment
With vibrational acupuncture, we follow these important points with a tuning fork, helping with vibrations to dissolve and reduce blockages. There are 361 acupuncture points distributed along the body's meridians. Below are examples of some acupuncture points.
HT7 – Treatment of addictions, anxiety, insomnia and depression.
HT9 – Emergency care for fainting and excessive heat.
The topic, as you may have guessed, is vast and a single article cannot be exhaustive, but it can still give an idea of the great potential that this discipline has.
The study of vibrations combined with that of acupuncture is a truly fantastic combination that deserves in-depth study.
