WHAT IS ACTION PLANNING? EXERCISES TO ACHIEVE YOUR PLANS AND OBJECTIVES

 Dear readers and friends,

Also today a coaching article on  WHAT ACTION PLANNING IS  AND HOW TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS. This article also has the function of helping if accompanied by sincere introspection, because as I always repeat: no one can lie to themselves and it is useless to make fun of yourself. These articles stimulate self-understanding, acceptance, change where you can and above all love yourself. As in every Life Coaching context we are examining, there are only small explanations and many questions. Finding these answers is our task, discovering ourselves to then improve ourselves and loving ourselves for who we are is the ultimate goal. As has already been said in several articles:

“A question at the right time can change your life or at least the vision you have of it.”

Action planning is the process of guiding the daily activities that will enable you to realize your greatest life vision.

Your action plan will determine:

•What needs to be done

•When it needs to be done

•Who should it be done by?

•What resources and inputs are needed to do this

Action planning is the process of operationalizing each of your goals.

The action plan you produce for any of your goals must have the following:

•A statement of what needs to be achieved (the long, medium or short term objective).

•Details of specific steps that must be followed to achieve the goal.

•A time schedule that indicates when each step must be completed and how long it will take.

•Details of who will be responsible for ensuring each step is completed successfully.

•Clarification of all inputs and resources needed to achieve the objective.

Exercise: Create your action plan

Choose a series of small- or medium-term goals and enter them into the following worksheets. Then get creative about how to fill in all the missing blanks.

Tip: Make each action step as simple and specific as possible by breaking complex actions into individual steps.

CREATE A TABLE WITH THE FOLLOWING HEADINGS

•Action step: What needs to be done?

•Responsible person: Who should act to complete this step?

•Deadline: When should this step be completed?

•Resources needed: What do you need to complete this step?

•Potential challenges: Are there potential challenges that could prevent completion? How will you overcome them?

•Result: Was this step completed successfully? Have new steps been identified in the process?

NOW CREATE THE SAME TABLE 7 TIMES FOR THE FOLLOWING TOPICS:

•Objective: social and family relationships

•Goal: Career and educational aspirations

•Objective: money and personal finances

•Objective: physical health, leisure and free time

•Goal: routine and responsibility of life

•Objective: contribution and return

•Objective: maturity and character (Mental and emotional well-being)
