Dear readers and friends,                               Articolo in Italiano su OlisticaMente Kokoro

Today I present to you an interesting article on some diseases of the digestive system:  DYSLIPIDEMIA - HYPERCHOLESTEROLEMIA - HYPERTRIGLYCERIDEMIA and some recommended herbal treatments.

We will see some herbal remedies that work but as always, before getting self-diagnosis and do-it-yourself treatments, it is always better to go to a doctor.

NB  When the results of a therapy based on medicinal plants should be disappointing, resort, without hesitation, to synthetic medicines that your trusted doctor will recommend.

DYSLIPIDEMIA - HYPERCHOLESTEROLEMIA - HYPERTRIGLYCERIDEMIA : These are diseases characterized by alterations in the average values of lipids in the blood. The two most common forms are hypercholesterolemia  and hypertriglyceridemia . Hypercholesterolemia also called "essential familial hypercholesterolemia", which has family origins, has average blood cholesterol values: 200/220 mg per 100ml in adults and 160/180 per 100ml in children. Another 2 parameters to consider are LDL cholesterol (bad) and HDL cholesterol (good) in the blood, which must record the following values: LDL = no more than 170 mg/ 100ml HDL = no less than 35 mg/ 100ml.

Hypertriglyceridemias must instead have the following data: blood value lower than 200 mg/100 ml. Dyslipidemias are strongly predisposing factors to arteriosclerosis, cardiovascular diseases and arterial hypertension, so treatments aimed at keeping their average values within the norm are essential to avoid these complications.

In hypercholesterolemia with normal triglycerides:

Artichoke TM: 50 drops in a little water 2 times a day before main meals + MG: Olea Europea (young shoots) (antidyslipidemic) 50 drops in the morning + Juniperus communis MG: (young shoots) (antidyslipidemic) 50 drops in the evening.

Or:

American chrysanthemum TM: 50 drops in a little water 3 times a day away from meals + Artichoke TM: 50 drops in a little water twice a day before main meals + Birch pubescens MG: 40 drops in a little water 2 times a day, morning and evening.

In hypertriglyceridemia and normal cholesterol with reduced HDL: MG: Prunus amygdalus (buds) (antidyslipidemic) 50 drops in the morning. + MG: Rosmarinus officinalis (young shoots) (antidyslipidemic)  50 drops in the evening.

Artichoke MG: 50 drops in a little water twice a day before main meals + American Chrysantel TM .: 50 drops in a little water 3 times a day away from meals.

The treatments should be implemented for cycles of 3 months, with breaks of 2 weeks, until the values are regularised.

ROSMARINUS OFFICINALIS Rosemary (glycerine macerate)

The gemmotherapy is obtained by maceration of young shoots of rosemary, collected during the vegetative recovery. The young shoots of rosemary show a repair action on the liver tissue, stimulation of the gallbladder and bile ducts. The bud extract also performs the action of metabolic activator, its action in fact extends to all the main metabolisms except the glucidic one. Recommended in all metabolic decompensation syndromes. It also regulates the activity of the internal secretion glands. It also has euphoric properties, stimulates the microcirculation and sharpens the eyesight. It reduces the cholesterol rate, allowing greater biliary fluidity, preventing gallbladder stones due to cholesterol. In case of hormonal imbalances in women close to menopause, it avoids the manifestation of premature senescence. In humans it has similar properties in the andropause,
