Dear readers and friends,
today I propose another system of reiki very dear to me: the KARUNA KI REIKI. I know that I have already written about various Reiki systems which are actually many, but these that I am presenting to you are the most widespread and those in which I best reflect myself as a philosophy. Thanking its creator, Vincent Amador, who wanted to give this wonderful gift to the world; We continue with a brief introduction to this system.
THE MEANING OF KARUNA KI
Karuna Ki means "compassionate energy" or as it is more appropriate, "the path of compassionate energy". It is the healing and spreading of the Creator's Compassion to all and all of creation. It is "being" God's compassion, as St. Paul says, or as Kuan Yin personifies. Karuna Ki is heart-centered healing. It is a loving, genuinely compassionate and heart-centered art.
It works best with a focus on the loving compassion of all creation flowing through you. "Compassionate Heart Reiki" is the term that best describes this system. Whether you connect it to the words of St. Paul where we are called to be the "compassion of God", or "the compassionate heart of Jesus" or in the Buddhist practices of Kuan Yin, goddess of compassion, the net result is the same.
Activations are done with the intent to connect and become this "Compassion of God". They are truly filled with love and are a blessing to be given and received.
The Karuna Ki emphasizes his understanding of what this compassion is, it is not just compassion in healing others, but in spreading it throughout the world and the universe, in everything we do.
Karuna Ki meditations are aimed at promoting this compassion and spreading it throughout the universe. It must be said here very clearly that this is not a religion. This is a healing art and meditative practice meant to cultivate compassion. The spreading of love and compassion which is always a good and wonderful effort to make and bring forward.
The practice of contemplating, developing and spreading compassion is found in many religious faiths around the world. Christian mystics, such as Ignatius Loyola, have used meditation (contemplation) and imagery to connect to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and God's compassion, as has St. Francis. This was part of their intimate connection to God.
In Tibetan Buddhist practices, there are many techniques for cultivating compassion. Three of the most notable are the Tonglen, the chant "Om Mani Pedme Hum" and the Bodhicitta. In Tonglen one meditates to fill and warm the heart with compassion and then spread it throughout the world. Om Mani Pedme Hum is a mantra of love and compassion. Bodhicitta is a cultivation of compassion based on the idea that since there are a limited number of reincarnated souls, we are all mothers in another time and place, and many times over. Therefore, since there is no greater love on earth than a mother's love for her child, we must strive to reflect and share that love with all at all times. In pure love we heal and all are one in God's love.
Karuna Ki is the path of compassionate energy and a healing and meditation practice - it uses Karuna Ki energy and symbols to be the divine heart of compassion. The story of Karuna Ki is a balanced attempt to understand how the Karuna arts came to be, and it lends credence to those who invested the time and effort into its development.
The core tenet of Karuna Ki is connecting with the embodiment of compassion for both self and other care and for sending healing and compassion to all of creation.
The activation and subsequent meditations bind us to God's compassion (which we all already are and have!), and it is through this power that we heal. During healing we strive to reflect compassion and love not only to those we heal, but to all of creation.
For who is it uncomfortable with the use of "God", this principle is beautifully reflected in the Buddhist Goddess of Compassion, Tara or Kuan Yin (Kannon in Japanese). It is about “heart-centered compassion” and heart-centered healing. He shares God's compassion or Kuan Yin's compassion for the whole universe. It is only in this perfect love that one is truly healed.
I hope this article was also interesting and that it can help you see the world with other eyes.
