"K U N D A L I N I" ENERGY

Today I present to you another article concerning  esotericism and esoteric anatomy, a thorny but very fascinating matter. In this article we will talk about "KUNDALIN I" ENERGY.

The term KUNDALINI comes from the Sanskrit word "KUNDAL" which means to envelop. It is compared to a serpent at rest and in sleep it is coiled at the base of the spine. Through the KUNDALINI Force all creatures act. In the different bodies the same energy lies dormant, like a static center around which all the forms of existence revolve. In the phenomenal world  there is  always a Power inside and behind every activity, like a static and vital foundation. This powerful energy is located in the human being at the base of the spine in the Basic CHAKRA or Muladhara. Symbolically twisted with three and a half turns on itself, like a Serpent, and closing the entrance to the Central Nadi SUSHUMNA with its head.

The KUNDALINI Force slumbers in the base of the spinal cord and is  the Mother who created the Universe, the feminine force of God, "The Force Strongest Than  All Forces" , like the flame Hermes Trismegistus . Once  awake, she can move up or down. If it moves upwards,  the being experiences unimaginable spiritual growth. If it goes  downwards, it can have very dire consequences. The one who  without being Pure and Master of Himself awakens the KUNDALIN Strength,  becomes prey to an unbridled sexual passion that drags him  towards the abyss at a dizzying speed. 

Because this force, the most powerful of all, can  destroy and create at the same time. In a certain way it is easy  to awaken the KUNDALINI, but the most difficult thing, and rightly the  essential thing, is to know where and how to direct it. The direction that  KUNDALINI takes does not depend on man's will, but on his qualities  and virtues. When the Fiery Serpent is awake, he darts towards the place where  he can find food. If it is the lower part that offers food, there  he goes, and then all is over; it is a bottomless pit, a real abyss. While if it is the upper part that attracts him, he goes upwards and  man reaches Union With God. 

In Genesis it is said that Adam and Eve lived in the Garden  of Eden where, among different classes of trees, grew the Tree of  Life and the Tree of the Science of Good and Evil. But here the snake  managed to persuade Eve who in turn persuaded Adam to eat  the forbidden fruit... and we already know what happened. For, this  Tree of the Science of Good and Evil is, in reality, the  Power chakra system of the Forces that went into action. They had to continue eating the  fruits of the Tree of Life, that is, drawing on the energies of the  Solar Plexus Center which relates to the whole cosmos. Because  thanks to these energies they did not know the fatigue, the sufferings nor the  located along the spinal column, and the coiled serpent  at the bottom of the tree is the KUNDALINI. The serpent spoke to Eve and  said to him: "If you eat the fruits of this tree that is, if you wake up the CHAKRAs  you will be like God, you will have Omniscience, Clairvoyance, the power  absolute CHAKRA. too. However, it was Premature, they were not prepared to bear the  death. Yes, the Tree of Life is the Solar Plexus, while the other tree,  the Tree of the Science of Good and Evil, is the Spinal Column for  the KUNDALINI circulates once awake. Adam and Eve were in  too much of a hurry to eat its fruits. They should have waited until God offered them to him, when the moment had come in which they were  spiritually prepared; Clean and Pure.

There is a millenary custom of burning incense or other  fragrant substances in temples  and churches. The spiraling smoke  from the censer is a symbol of KUNDALINI's ascension through the  Chakras. The censer with the embers represents the MULADHARA CHAKRA  and the smoke represents the serpent of Fire, the Igneous Serpent of our  Magical Powers. If we cast a glance at other spiritual traditions of other  times, we irretrievably find in all civilizations an allusion to the  "Sacred Serpent." Jesus himself would never have advised his  disciple that they show themselves as wise as the Serpent, if this had been  a symbol of the Devil; nor even the Ophites the Gnostic Sages Egyptians of the "Brotherhood" of the Serpent would have revered a live snake  in their ceremonies as an emblem of Wisdom, the Divine SOPHIA.

Symbolically, the pharaohs actually alluded to it with the representation of  two snakes on the head, as for example in Tutankhamun ; we also have  the "Feathered Serpent" of the Aztecs, the feathered Serpent was the KUNDALINI energy  when it flies or ascends up to the head of the Initiate, that  Divine Viper according to them devoured the Soul and the Spirit in  igneous flames; Hindu and Tibetan cultures reflect this same symbol as  the SHIVA aspect of the Hindu Trinity. The word KUNDALINI comes from them; also in the Greek Tradition we see it in the form of the Caduceus of  HERMES, with the two snakes intertwined around a central rod. The two small lateral serpents are IDA and PINGALA, the two currents that  surround the SUSHUMNA channel, this being represented by the central rod; to this day this symbol persists as a logotype  of Pharmacies. The serpent surrounding a glass is a  profoundly mystical symbol. And they do well to have it because it is the internal serpent  that cures all diseases.

The KUNDALINI Energy once actualized and elevated through the  spine up to the head, is responsible for  fully Activating and Awakening all the CHAKRAs. They may activate earlier, but it will only be  partially. KUNDALINI energy is that which has the Power to burn  the etheric web and purify every gross substance of man. But…, What exactly is KUNDALINI? Kundalini is the Fire  Promoter of the Physical Life of the planet, it is the Igneous Power that burns in the  very bowels of the Planetary Nature and in the center of every Being and is  that creative aspect of its spiritual nature, currently defined  in esoteric studies as: created thing, it is the Sacred Talisman through which the Solar Logos can  Find Continuity of Life and Consciousness on our Planet and express 

- The Holy Spirit............For Christians.

- Isis............................. For the Egyptians.

- Shiva.............................For Hindus.

- Intelligence or Activity . For Occultists.

There is currently a grave mistake which those who are very Mystics generally make  , and that is to think that the Kundalini energy is  an entity, and has its own intelligence. They justify her Tantric work  by saying that Mother Kundalini awakens and ascends only  when She believes that the time is right, and that nothing bad can  happen, because it will be protected for that Divine Goddess. However, this  isn't real. The Kundalini energy is not a Being, but a tremendous  power, and whoever tries to awaken it "personally" runs a grave danger,  much more real than one could imagine. The  direct allusion to the Fire of KUNDALINI, as executor of the will of the  Monad - or Spirit of man -, illustrates us again on a general point  in high Yoga studies, and it is that the evolution of a  "CHAKRA" by radiating a particular kind of MONÁDICA energy,  Matter so that it wakes up from its deep lethargy and ascends in the form of an  Igneous serpent through the spinal column, making the contents of the  SUSHUMNA Channel vibrate. It must therefore be understood that it is not the Fire in  determines the Mystical invocation of the fire of KUNDALINI, the  Mother Force of Nature, for the natural development of this center,  thus reaching the conclusion, not only from a purely esoteric angle, but  also for the evolution of logical reasoning, that the process of  Espan The sion of Fire is not found only in the mystical and  ascendant quality of KUNDALINI. It must be taken into account, mainly, that  the process of development of the CHAKRAs "Points of special interest  meditative for the Solar Angel in a given moment", which in the line  of its particular evolution invite to the Sleeping Fire of the  that develops the CHAKRAs, but it is one's own CHAKRAs,  enlivened and purified mentally and spiritually for the  Silent Observer of our life, the Spiritual Monad through the  Solar Angel, from the major Center of the head, those who carry out the process of  ascension of KUNDALINI in search of the Fire of MANAS. 

This us  leads us to the understanding that it is not the mental effort of the human soul  that must invoke the Force of KUNDALINI, but it is the Divine Soul  union of the Spirit, the one that carries out the Work of Awakening and  Ascension of the same.

Currently there are some schools especially "pseudo-tantric"  esoteric or yoga around the world who are committed to awakening  this Powerful Energy. Eastern TANTRISM and its worship of the  Feminine thing, Sexual Magic and other similar forms of practices, are  truly outside of any sincere spiritual approach. No  Disciple of the White Fraternity is advised such inferior practices,  for as well as being very dangerous, the true sense of  spiritual purpose is lost, and regrettably many sincere aspirants are  turned into the grip of their own vanity, some of them degenerating,  some "Magical Powers." There have been very concrete and rare cases, in which  even without knowing it, into black magic, wherein they mainly pursue  the Kundalini Energy or a small part of it awakened by  accidental means. In this case the KUNDALINI throws itself and tries to rise  abruptly through the center of the spinal column instead of following a  spiral order, as would happen with an Initiate, and the man can suffer  more than one physical and psychic setback. These so rare, but real cases of  spontaneous combustion, where the body is inflamed or  spontaneously combusted, is a small accidental demonstration of this  powerful Energy that we call KUNDALINI. Of course, it is better for  the aspirant not to play with fire. And as the theme has many sides,  it would be convenient to aggregate here another aspect that exists around the  so-called "Sexual Magic" which attracts many who then end up devoured  like a match in a fire. Let us reflect briefly esoterically  on the spiritual implication of "Sex":

"Sex is in reality only the relation of the lower nature to the  higher Self; afterwards it is raised into the light of day, that man may  attain Complete Union With Deity. Man discovers that Sex,  which hitherto has been a purely physical function, performed at times  under the impulse of love, is raised to its proper plane as the  'Divine-Marriage', performed and consummated in the levels of  Soul perception. This great truth underlies the sordid history of the expression  of Sex, the Magic of Sex and the distortions of modern  TÁNTRIC Magic. Humanity has reduced the symbolism and its thoughts have debased Sex to the point of transforming it into an animal function, and it was not  elevated to the Realm of Symbolic Mystery. Men have attempted to attaining, by means of physical expression , the fusion and the internal harmonies  they yearn for, but this cannot be done. Sex is only the symbol of a  Internal Duality that must be Transcended and brought to Unity. It is not  transcended by physical means or Rituals - as some  esoteric schools suppose - but it is a transcendence in Consciousness." The Soul is the  masculine aspect to the Personality which is in turn the feminine aspect.  When the Soul has "Taken" the Personality, and is infused through her, the Personality is invested by the presence of Light and the Divine Love of the Soul ; it is then when the Mystical Microcosmic Marriage is consummated. From  That High Union inexorably gives rise to the "True Solar Man." And it is  the highest sexual relationship that the human being can conceive."

The KUNDALINI can awaken by various methods, but this must be  done only with the direction of a competent Master or Instructor,  the Master being responsible, before the Fraternity, for the training  of the candidate. He is not likely to lead this awakening at least until  the candidate, by his own effort, has destroyed the Three Prime  Bindings of the Path, so that he is not already in danger of being  attracted to sensual or material things. Then, his "Heaven-Born",  intimately united or in harmony with the Higher Manas, can continue  to be master of the Triple House of Personality, and when the  KUNDALINI energy remains free in the body, it will likely run in channels  Pure In Service to the Higher Self. Thus, the awakening of KUNDALINI  will commonly occur already near the Third Initiation.
