CRYSTAL THERAPY, ANCIENT ALTERNATIVE THERAPY (2)

 Dear Readers and Friends

Here is the second article in the series of articles on crystal therapy. For continuity of reading I leave you the link of the first article.

CRYSTAL THERAPY, ANCIENT ALTERNATIVE THERAPY (1)

Crystal therapy is an ancient alternative therapy that uses the properties of crystals to restore physical and mental balance and promote well-being throughout the body.

Crystal therapy  is based on a premise common to other holistic disciplines and traditional medicines  according to which behind a physical disorder or emotional discomfort there is an energetic imbalance.

What are crystals and stones?  They are the concrete meeting of four elements of creation:  AIR, WATER, EARTH, FIRE. They are single individuals and have the memories of all their experiences enclosed within themselves.

After seeing the cleansing (purification) and programming of stones and crystals we will do some theory on shapes and composition. At the end of the article I will leave a series of common stones that can be used.

CRYSTALLINE SYSTEMS

Crystals are grouped into seven different crystal systems, which is the crystal growth system. The way atoms bond to each other to form crystals.

In addition to the seven types, there is an eighth, the so-called amorphous, where the growth of the crystal does not follow any geometric rule.

The internal lattice, that is, the one that the atoms, bound together, form has a certain geometry. Therefore, each variety of crystal belonging to a given lattice, or system, however different it may be in its external form, under the microscope will show the exact same geometry.

The crystal systems are:

Amorphous or organic (without lattice) : Energy flows rapidly and can be a catalyst for growth or induce a cathartic release of toxicity. Amorphous energy surrounds and protects the body or a space.

Example: amber

Isometric (Cubic): Stabilizes, grounds, and clears energy; releases tension and stimulates creativity. Cubic crystals are great for grids that create structure and reorganization. It is the only crystal shape that does not bend light rays as they pass through it.

Example: diamond, garnet

Hexagonal: Organizes and balances energy and provides support; useful for examining specific issues.

Example: apatite, aquamarine , emerald

Monoclinic: increases perception and balances the body's systems: useful for purification.

Example: selenite, orthoclase, desert rose

Orthorhombic:  vibrant and energetic; purifies and disperses, increases the flow of information.

Example: topaz, olivine

Tetragonal: promotes transformation. Opens, harmonizes and balances the flow of energy, brings resolutions.

Example: zircon, scapolite

Triclinic: protective, capable of integrating energy and opposites; opens perception facilitating the exploration of other dimensions.

Example: axinite , kyanite

Trigonal (rhombohedral): focuses and anchors energy, invigorates and protects the aura and the environment

Example: quartz, tourmaline

STONES FOR DISCOURAGEMENT OR DESPAIR

YELLOW AGATE OR JASPER : encourages success and stimulates its achievement.

RHODONITE : stimulates renewal through action, gives energy

ROSE QUARTZ : promotes self-esteem and self-respect.

RUTILATED QUARTZ : stimulates positivity, helps to express one's talents.

ROSE QUARTZ OR AVENTURINE : stimulates sweetness and understanding towards oneself.

CALCITE : stimulates the desire for harmony, helps avoid excesses.

SNOWY OBSIDIAN: gives strength in difficulties and helps to use them spiritually for evolution.

MOONSTONE : eliminates emotional blocks, stimulates intuition.

MALACHITE : helps to understand the limits of others and also one's own, stimulates love and respect towards oneself.
