How to use the Mind Map

Dear Readers,                                                    Articolo in italiano su OlisticaMente Kokoro

Today I'm talking about Mental Mapping, another life coach article to improve everyone's situation and lifestyle. Always remember that these articles and tips must be done with complete honesty. I repeat it again this time, you cannot lie to yourself. Try and let me know.

MIND MAP

Mind maps are an effective way to structure and represent ideas, plans and concepts. It's a visual thinking exercise that can help you structure the information that's already in your head (or heart).

Mind maps will help you analyze your best ideas better, understand new strategies with greater clarity, remember what you already know (or what you need to know), and will also help you generate new strategies, plans, and ideas. Just like with any great idea, the power of mind mapping lies in its simplicity.

As opposed to traditional note-taking or linear text, mind maps allow you to structure information in a way that resembles (to a reasonable degree) the structure of your brain. Since mind mapping is an activity that can be both analytical and artistic, it engages the brain in a creative and much richer way, helping in all its cognitive functions.

MAPPING YOUR MIND TO YOUR 7 PRIMARY LIFE AREAS

Many therapists and psychologists understand that visualizing ourselves as we want to be in the future is a crucial part of working to become this person. Use the following mind-mapping exercise to create your "Future Me" as opposed to your "Now Me."

While it goes without saying that we still have to put in the effort to make changes in life, mental mapping of our ideal future life can act as a compass to guide us through the obstacles and challenges we might face. Mind mapping exercises (like the one below) allow for transparent comparison of where you are now in life and how things will evolve in life when you make the appropriate changes.

Caveat: Completing the following mind map exercise might feel slightly disorganized if you've never done an exercise like this before. However, don't let that stop you, just trust the process. Putting these ideas on paper and linking them together will help sort out disorganized thoughts fast! Please answer the questions in each section below as honestly as possible .
