Dear readers and friends,
Even today a coaching article with many questions and just one exercise to discover where we live: are we in our comfort zone or do we live outside of it. This article also has the function of helping if accompanied by sincere introspection, because as I always repeat: no one can lie to themselves and it is useless to make fun of yourself. These articles stimulate self-understanding, acceptance, change where you can and above all love yourself. As in every Life Coaching context we are examining, there are only small explanations and many questions. Finding these answers is our task, discovering ourselves to then improve ourselves and loving ourselves for who we are is the ultimate goal. As has already been said in several articles:
“A question at the right time can change your life or at least the vision you have of it.”
Obviously anyone who needs help must contact the staff assigned to do so, contact them.
Before leaving space for the brief introduction and exercise of this article, I propose the link to the first article regarding the locus of control for a better understanding of the following article. THE LOCUS OF CONTROL: ENHANCED OR DOWNED?
Locus of control helps you distinguish between those who live life in an enhanced way (i.e. through an internal locus of control) and those who live in a disempowered way (i.e. through an external locus of control).
A key idea we have reiterated throughout these articles is that “accountability breeds empowerment” . Many people feel down, depressed and defeated because of their current situation and what is happening to them. They believe that things are happening to them that are beyond their control and may even believe that other people have control over them and that they can do nothing but obey them. This fatalistic mindset is what is known as the external locus of control.
