Today I present to you a very important article especially in this period: CURES FOR ASTENIA AND ANXIETY very useful in defeating these diseases that afflict a large part of the population.

We will see some herbal remedies that work but as always, before getting self-diagnosis and do-it-yourself treatments, it is always better to go to a doctor.

N.B. When the results of a therapy based on medicinal plants should be disappointing, resort, without hesitation, to synthetic drugs that your trusted doctor will recommend.

ASTHENIA

Generic term to define a more or less serious state of lack of vitality, organic weakness, physical and/or intellectual tiredness. It is therefore advisable to point out the characteristics of the various types of asthenia in order to be able to classify them in the various diatheses and therefore adopt the most appropriate phytotherapeutic remedy.

HERBAL TREATMENTS

Eleutherococcus senticosus (roots) T.M.: (adaptogen-tonic stimulator) 20 drops a day for a period of 10-20 days. In addition to T.M., the juice of the plant can also be used with good results. The treatment should never be continued beyond 20 days and should not be used in subjects with arterial hypertension that is not controlled with adequate drugs.

Avena sativa (seeds) T.M.: Oats are an excellent tonic of the nervous system. Especially useful in cases of nervous asthenia associated with episodes of mild depression. Take 30- 40 gtt. three times a day away from meals.

Trigonella foenum graecum (fenugreek) T.M.: Fenugreek is an excellent tonic and tonic. It has a high nutritional value. The seeds have marked anabolic properties. Consequently this remedy will be more suitable when the asthenia has a clear component of physical debilitation. Take 30-40 gtt. three times a day.

Turnera diffusion T.M. (Damiana). It has a stimulating, diuretic, nerve tonic and sexual action. This plant has often been used as an aphrodisiac in cases of impotence and frigidity. It improves blood circulation in the pelvic and genital area, but you have to wait a few weeks to get an appreciable action. It is appropriate to take this plant when asthenia leads reflexively to an unsatisfactory sex life. Its tonic and relaxing nerve action makes it excellent even in cases of premature ejaculation. Take 40-80 gtt. three times a day.

ANXIETY

Anxiety can be defined as a psychological situation consisting of a state of alarm, tension, uncertainty with regard to present or future events, experienced as a threat and inability to control them. When this state becomes persistent and detached from immediate and easily overcome situations, in which case anxiety is a physiological factor, it becomes pathological and can turn into anguish, in which there is a sense of despair and sometimes even depression.

Anxious states can become somatized, so that the sense of existential insecurity is superimposed on unpleasant or even painful sensations, which can be ascertained at the level of the various organs of the body (heart, head, viscera, etc.). This somatized anxiety can lead to a constant fear of getting sick or even dying. Our extremely competitive age, steeped in false myths of individual success at any cost, attacked by innumerable anti-ecological factors, represents an almost constant anxiety-provoking condition which affects ever larger masses of the population. This somatized anxiety can lead to a constant fear of getting sick or even dying.

Our extremely competitive age, steeped in false myths of individual success at any cost, attacked by innumerable anti-ecological factors, represents an almost constant anxiety-producing condition which affects ever larger masses of population dependent on the synthesis remedy. Obviously it will be useful to associate phytotherapy which will act symptomatically and psychotherapy especially in the most complicated cases. Plants cannot replace the psychotherapist's art, but they can be useful in the treatment of certain psychosomatic ailments as they regulate the functioning of some disturbed nervous centres, act on the visceral smooth muscle, ensuring de-connection and thus allowing the organ to regain normal operation. In fact, organs and viscera often present unpleasant symptoms due to continuous hyper-stimulation by the nervous system.
