ACUPRESSURE: BLOOD PROBLEMS, VARICOSE STATES – HEMORRHOIDS

 Dear readers and friends,

Today I propose another article of the series on traditional Chinese medicine, in particular on acupressure; regarding various pathologies for which using it correctly could provide relief. ·     VARICOSE STATES – HEMORRHOIDS: Varicose veins are permanent dilations of the venous walls, which tend to weaken. They are therefore progressive lesions. The most affected veins are those of the lower limbs (saphenous veins), but there are other locations such as those related to the veins of the spermatic cord (varicocele) and the veins of the hemorrhoidal plexus (hemorrhoids).

SP10:  Located on the upper edge of the Sartorius 2 cun from the upper edge of the patella

– Treats blood disorders
– Regulates menstruation
– Treats blockage and emptiness of blood
– Reactivates the blood
– Cures anemia, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, metrorrhagia, eczema, urticaria and itching.


SP6:  Located on the posterior border of the tibia and 3 cun from the tibial malleolus.

– Tonifies YIN
– Treats all Blood diseases
– Reactivates Blood circulation
– Removes Blood stasis
– Strengthens the Spleen and disperses Dampness
– Promotes the descent of Blood and reopens the channels
– Harmonizes the circulation of QI and Blood
– Controls the pelvic area and regulates Liver QI
– Tonifies the Kidney and treats all Spleen diseases
– Cures gynecological disorders, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, female sterility, urinary incontinence
– Cures psoriasis, eczema and urticaria.  
Do not stimulate during pregnancy



CV1:  Located halfway between the anus and external genitals, it is a resuscitation point. It relaxes muscle spasm and treats affections of the lower orifices.


HEMORRHOIDS BLOOD VESSELS, BLOOD PROBLEMS


GV20: It is located on the midline, in the center of the line joining the tips of the ears, seven cun above the posterior hairline.
treatment of common,  but unnatural , phenomena such as prolapse (e.g. stomach, uterus, bladder, anus or vagina, intestine, etc.) or incontinence.


BL 17 :  1.5 cun from DU MAI under the spinosa of D7

– Regulates Blood
– Disperses Blood Stasis

– Clears the chest and expands the Lungs It
cures Blood disorders, anemia, hemorrhages and urticaria, evening fever, bone heat and night sweats, gastralgia, stomach cancer, cardialgia, hiccups, stress vomiting, esophageal spasm.



LU 9 Tai Yuan (Underground Spring):  Located on the flexion crease of the wrist in the radial artery groove

– Lowers and nourishes the lung Qi
– Dispels phlegm and wind
– Stops cough and clears the channels
– Cures pain in the pulse.
