ACUPRESSURE: NAUSEA AND VOMITING

 Dear readers and friends,

Today I propose a series of articles on traditional Chinese medicine, in particular on acupressure; regarding various pathologies for which using it correctly could provide relief. The second article in this series is about  NAUSEA AND VOMITING .  For a more informed use and to follow the topic more easily I recommend you read the first of the past articles.  Acupressure: Meridians, treatments and tricks .

NAUSEA AND VOMIT

The first point is the most important one to always use first.


PC5 :  3 cùn above the crease of the wrist, between the tendons of the palmaris muscle and the flexor carpi radialis. It expands the chest, disperses emotional stasis, calms the Spirit by curing depression, anxiety and phobias, Nourishes the Heart by curing its various pathologies, Opens the orifices and Harmonizes the Stomach.  Opens the orifices.

PC6:  2 cùn above the crease of the wrist, between the tendons of the palmaris longus muscle and the flexor carpi radialis muscle.

– Calms the Spirit
– Drains the Liver
– Treats irritability, insomnia, depression, cardialgia, angina pectoris
– Treats dizziness, hemiparesis, hysteria, migraines and jaundice
– Cure vomiting, hiccups, nausea, acute and chronic gastritis, dyspnea.  
Tones the Heart Qi



CV12: Mu Point of Stomach. 
4 cun above the navel and which has the following Actions/Indications:

– Point with strong influence on all viscera
– Strongly tones the IQ especially of the Spleen
– Harmonizes the average Jiao
– Treats gastralgia, gastroduodenal ulcers, vomiting, dyspepsia, abdominal pain,
deficit diarrhea. Indirectly cures Tan-dominated syndromes.


SP 4:  At the tarsometatarsal joint of the big toe.

– Key point of CHONG MAI
– Promotes the rise of IQ
– Disperses Humidity
– Treats edema
– Calms the Stomach and invigorates the Spleen
– Treats gastralgia, dyspepsia, vomiting, meteorism, dysmenorrhea, diarrheic, l insomnia, hemorrhoids.

St 43 Xia: In a depression distal to the junction point between the 2nd and 3rd metatarsals. regulates the functions of the stomach and strengthens the splenic ones and promotes diuresis.

SP 16:  3 cun above SP15 treats food accumulations, releases the energy circulation in the abdominal viscera, refreshes heat and disperses humidity, curing diarrhea.
